im going to assume to me and after reading this i guess its a bigger issue then i thought. i was just trying to get the point across that clerics arent bots that are just meant to heal... just they can do other stuff. i get the whole clerics have the worst DPS crp. its true dont deny it. but we can hold our own against people (unless a mage infernos then novas us.)

AoE Damage debuff*or it could be Str only been along time since I've been on my cleric on KFiesta*...new attack skill and a few other skills that clerics on Fiesta should get with new updates. A cleric in Fiesta is closer to the original cleric*The D&D cleric* as its comfortable doing whatever it wants...soloing or healing in a party. Trip and Bleed also don't have the status effects they should have in this version either Outspark will change that or just keep it that way.

i heard that clerics are finally going to get an AoE attack and if thats true yay!!!! but i also heard its going to be based on INT which is gonna suck

I prefer not to talk about cleric in PvP coz it just sucks... u cant do anything so i hvnt stepped foot in a PvP ground for a while... LOL

Yes, yes... totally agree...

dont jump to conclusion here... I also, by no means mean that Cleric is the best DD class... (we need to be nerfed if we are XD) but with that being said, depending on the party/situation, we are not JUST a healing/revive bot... we can make use of our hammer(or mace?) too!

If i was in a party with 1 cleric (myself) and a mage, yes i'll just do my healing job.. but if we had 2 clerics, 2 fighters and a mage, then we can also help do the dmg while we're not healing (throw an invincible on the fighter and i can kill a mob or two in that time...)

dispite all that being said about "i'm not a healing bot", Clerics need to look at the situation and the party to decide if they should/can be a healing bot... not saying that we should always try throw a smash in.. but we're not ONLY useful for healing...

I must agree with you.
There are so many fighters/mages/archers (but mainly fighters) that think clerics are JUST for healing and shout "heal", "heal me", "heal goddamit", or even "**** heal". I mean...healing part is all ok. I get it. But when it comes to swearing...and talking in almost-ordering-tone...That's when it gets really really annoying. Who's ordering who? I mean...come on. Being a cleric isn't an easy job at all. It's hard enough to keep myself + party members alive. Besides, it is only for clerics to use all the sp AND hp stones/pots for healing? So many people don't think about using hp stones/pots once in a while - some don't even have any on them - and blame&swear on clerics after they die.

i normally look at my party, and of course the area around them, just to check if they're going to be taking a lot of dmg. I do this so that just in case my party members aren't taking to bad of dmg, i can join them in killing the mob. If they are taking 200s~600s no duh i only heal. if there is a normal-sized mob, i normally heal--> restore--> invincible. then i might go help kill what they are trying to kill, which means once we kill one monster in a mob, less dmg=less heal=more helping kill.

i wouldn't do that if i had a mace though. I also wouldn't do that if my build wasn't 30 END and the rest STR.

just my personal preference. :P
