Tequila is right: although, at times, the pen tool can have a double edge. It's annoying as hell to learn, but after a few months(?) then you get the hang of it and you can create some smexxy stuff.

When I do stuff like that, I just get some brushes & play with the curves then GG

Make two points with the pen tool, then click anywhere in between them to create more points on the line. Then you hold ctrl and drag them around to make a curve. =)

I prefer using the freeform tool and just drawing my lines lol . Yea it takes a few months to get it down to where what you are doing actually looks good. I don't know...maybe I'll make a pentool signature tutorial or something lol.

When you use the freeform pentool as long as your line has some resemblance of being straight Photoshop will straighten in the rest of the way for you .
