Your Cleric Build - The thread! *dramatic music*

I'm going for a 5 str 1 dex build on my cleric. It's going decent, I do seem to avoid hits often, and I can solo practically everything a fighter can, + with the heals it pwns.

As of right now, I see no point of adding anything into SPR and definatley nothing into INT.

But, END might be a good replacement for Dex.

I've seen some people talking about pure STR...


so what' are you folks doing?

Pure SPR ftw. Get a huge crit rate and then your basically doing double damage every hit. You also get a huge SP pool and defence against magic users which are likely to be high level mobs.

I'm currently only level 7 but I've been trying a full SPR build. Really haven't noticed the benefits yet, but I'm sure I will. Only thing I don't like about it is the lack of defence and I'm sure with full SPR my accuracy will eventually die offs so it's more a skill spamming build. It's possible I may be fighting monsters too high for my level, I don't really know how to tell what level each monster is.

I'm tempted to try a STR hybrid between either DEX, SPR, or END.

I'm not sure what stats to use for my cleric.. He is lv 10, but still with the 10stat points.

Vash go with End>Str>then spr because once u get invincible/higher lvl buffs you will be usin alot of sp up...at Niion you may regret the dex later.....because you dont really need it every lvl adds on so much dex..End and str are best for clerics...Pure Str would be jus plain crazy

I don't think cleric need much STR, as they get 2 STR per level gain <.< That pretty a lot for a healer.

I'm going for full END or 2 END : 1 SPR build. At high level you will surely need more mana, HP, and you will definitely need both physical and magical defense (some one said, invincible ?)

With high SPR we will also have high crit rate, that will make up for dmg loss from adding no STR.

And why do we need to add STR, when cleric weapon has the highest base dmg, greatest bonus from upgrade

DEX is worthless on cleric, so is INT.

Summary, my cleric wanna-be:
- 2 : 1 END/SPR build
- STR/END/SPR equipment
- Stun/Bleed skill abuse

you dont need 2 pump SPR due to divinity lol which you get +40-50ish SP per rank....so i think its best to go End>Str>Spr but its a matter of opinion also Clerics crit rate is fine also without pumpin spr....empowering your skills handles SP management quite well..i mean if you're wantin to play support then pumpin SPR is fine...but for a Battle Cleric *person who wants to solo* STR outweighs SPR

I'm going for a STR and END battle build in a 3STR:1END ratio. It's pretty good and I got to level 18 using it.

i guess it would be fine Keetos even though my opinion is defense is the best offense...lol...in theory its Paladins>pwn all in pvp...fully buffed an kitted out unless mages have some awesome firepower i dont know about lol >_< *which im sure they dont* you cant drop them

lol unless mage have some awsome firepower ? That's where SPR kick in mate, I don't know if any high level monster have magic attack, if they have, I will surely want my SPR high.

5 SPR give +1% crit rate, and I want my SPR like 100 for +20% crit rate

Like I said, cleric has a lot of STR gain per level (just have a level up that give 3 STR :O) and VERY HIGH dmg weapon, no need for much STR, stun + bleed to the max

@Keetos: I add no STR and I'm lvl 17 already use like 2-3 mana stone per level now, not that much and I'm fighting in the place lvl 20 warrior train
