A love hidden within her laugh
an emotion shining within her eyes,
she loves him
he knows not.

everday she talks with him
everday she laghs with him

she loves him
he knows not.

Her feelings she speaks not
for fear of loosing him,

she loves him
he knows not.

each day she tries to say
but the price she will not pay.

She lvoes him
he knows not

the price is too high
the friendship is to rare

she loves him
he knows not

mabye one day she'll know
the truth in his heart

[Fathers-day poem]
You’ve been there for me for all these years,
You’ve been by my side or all my life,
You’ve loved me and held me every day,

But what have I done for you,
Have I treated you with love,
Have I treated you with respect,
Have I shown you how much I need you,

I love you for being my dad,
I love you for being you,
I love everything about you,
I love you

I am sorry for the things we may have said,
I am sorry for the things we may have done,

I hope you know how much I love you,
I hope you know how much I need you,
I hope you know how much I look up to you,

I love you,
I hope you know your special to me,
You my dad my only dad,

That’s why I think your so special,

[Mothers Day Poem]
My angel watches over me.
A sweet and gentle smile,
As beautiful as can be
Many people know her,
Lovely She is,
came to me by god,
To watch over me for life,
My guardian angel that is all mine,
I love her more than life,
My Special guardian angel happens to be one of the closest people to me,
my guardian angel is my mom.

[Mask]
In a mirror I do look,
To see,
Someone looking back at me,
Some one new,
Unknown,
And strange,

I look at this person,
Hidden behind masks,
To fit into life,

As I look past these masks,
I come to realize this stranger in the mirror,
Is the true me,

I hide behind these masks,
To hide from the stares,
My dreams I hide,
My fears unseen,
Afraid to be seen,
Afraid to be heard,

No one hears my cries,
That are silent to my own ears,

No one sees my tears,
That are unseen by my own eyes,

I no longer know the true me,
Even if I find the true me,
I wonder about the stares,
The comments,

I remember once I showed that true me,
At that time tears fell from my eyes,
Though I never showed it to them,
Inside I cried out with sadness of a flightless hawk,

I cannot remember the true me,
But the outcome of showing, me,
I felt like an outcast,
A freak,
And lonely,

That’s when I found these masks,
And put them on,
To rely on them,
To get me through life,

Now I see the true me,
Within the reflection,
Of a simple mirror,
Though I have to look beyond the masks,
I know I can see, me,

My friends see the true me,
As an outcast,
I hear their words behind my back,
Though I try to pretend not to notice,
It hurts me inside,
Though around the corner I walk with a smile,
And a warm greeting,
Only thinking inside ‘ are these people truly my friends?’
But I stay numb to the truth,

I now know the true me,
Is want I want to be,
No longer to hide,
Beyond these masks,

I grow tired of hiding my self,
Afraid of loosing what still burns within,

As I slowly take my masks off,
Tears roll down my face,
This is painful,
And seems unfair,
That I even had to put these vile things on in the first place,
But I curse no one but myself,
For listening to the unwanted, untrue words,

But now my masks are off,
I fell naked and bare,
But now my reflection is clear,

No more masks,
To block my sight,
Only truth,
Of who I am,

Now I look at the mirror,
My reflection I do see,
Is myself,
Nothing else.

Here’s a poem from me to you,
We are friends that is true,
I know you fret about the day,
That I will leave, away ill stay,
Even when that day comes,
You know the one that is better than you is none,
You have been there when sad time came,
You were there in pouring rain,
You were there on happy days,
You were there when the warmth stayed,
You are my friend,
No one truer than you,
Your one of a kind,
No one better not even one that is new,
So please don’t cry when I leave,
Never forget I will always see,
That you are my friend,
The truest one anybody could be,
I will always love you,
You’re like a sister,
And always will be,
You’re a friend,
No one better,
We both know the day will come,
There is now way to prepare,
But now enjoy the time we have,
And save the tears for later,
We will laugh,
And we will play,
Watch the shows that we love,
Play with animals,
Run through the grass,
I know forever this friendship will last.


[Trail of Tears]
The past of noble people,
Brushed past by time,
But we will never forget,
What has been done to them.

The Cherokee,
The Indians,
Forced upon a trail,
Forced from their homes,
Forced from their lands,

They traveled many days,
They traveled many miles,

From Georgia to Oklahoma they did walk,
With little help from towns they passed,
Treated differently for their heritage,
When the land taken from them was rightfully theirs,

The wolf howled sorrowfully for his companions leave,
The warrior stallions whinnied sadly of their riders absents,
The spirits moaned sadly for their children’s pain,

They traveled to a land,
Unknown to them,
Where wolves do not howl,
Where stallions were not allowed,

Along the journey,
Along the path,
Along the trail,
Colored red,
Many died upon the trail,
Many left to die alone,

Mothers cried for their children,
Children cried of hunger,
Young men forced into silent anger,

White mans sin,
Cherokee blood,
Cherokee tears,

White mans wealth,
Cherokee land,
Cherokee gold,

This age should never forget,
What happened upon the trail,
The trail where so many died,
Where so many cried,
Nunna daul Tsuny lives on within the Cherokee blood.

[Mirror Me]
I look in a mirror
and what do I see?
A stranger looking back at me.

Who is this stranger within mymirror?
A girl unknown to me
she seems familiar
like a distant dream
forgotten by time.

Then I see
This girl, it's me!

I look closer to see it now,
the girl in the mirror is me.

My long hair now short
my face now painted
my expression now sad.

The mirror me- I dont want to see!
For she is not me!
The mirror me- tht I do see
must be- what I could become.

But I refuse to become
one I dont want to come
and be a stanger to me.

This me- within the mirror
is one I do not want to be.

She has changed herself
to fit everyone else.

She or I or what to be
has lost more than happyness

She or I has lost ourselves
within the fast river of peers

but I will not become she
for I am me
and my path I choose alone

[Drive-by-shooting]
As the clock chimes tweleve O'clock midnight,
a crime has been done,
her time is now gone.

Her life fades away
so does her pain

I cry by her side
in fear for her life.

I hear sirens in the background,
they're coming to help,
bit it is too late,
she is now gone.[

she was but eight
innocent and young
with dreams that would rise
and dreams that would fall,
a drive by shooting
ended it all.

I don't really understand "poem language" you know, like the language shakespear speaks? ex. Where for art thou window breaks.

But I've heard the more complicated it is to understand it, the better it is.
But your a great poem writer...I can only write poems that start with " Roses are res, violets are blue..." so you beat me by a loooong yard.

And yeah I wrote all of these myself, i have several... (several as in about 30+ more) floating around my room nad in folders.
._. I also have alot of short stories.. some not finsihed. I have a story thing thats about 40 typed up pages. =P I love writing.
