i thought i'd try making the job change really easy

it didn't work, i tried by unequipping everything from my fighter until my double spawned when i first got in. the first time it caught me off guard attacking pretty fast and doing 66 damage per hit even after i got my equips on, which i did kinda slow from the inventory and didn't have a chance to use a stone. the second time i tried it i had my equips in the quickslot (and it works much better for equipping than it does for unequipping). the double only had my pet honeying on because i did it a bit too soon, it still attacked fast though but got past it. the last room however it respawned with all my equips on because i then had them equipped but the only difference i really noticed was that it was using skills that time. i don't think the damage it did to me changed much if at all.

Use scrolls/pots/stones and you'll be fine.

i already beat it, didn't need scrolls. i think the job change for my archer was easier though. i was just curious if it would work but it doesn't.

I tried this with my fighter, apperantly he hits lower but attacks faster.

if unequip wep would your clone still have one? O_O

I tried that on my second archer. I stripped before entering and my clone appeared to be without equipment, but he immediately beat me down with some long range bare fisted punches. Still attacked with high damage and range like a bow.

I don't know for sure but my guess is that the equipment the clone shows is purely aesthetic and it's power is calculated using your level and your stat points.

that's the conclusion i came to as well except there was something strange. my fighter has a lot more hp and end than my archer did but both clones still had about the same hp

My archers clone had either 4k or 5k.

My fighters had 7k.

my archer's had around 5k+ my fighter's had around 5.5k
