DEX is a very good PvP build, but only if you make enough $ to support expensive equipments and use charms to make up for the loss of dmg (not that you would need it, but against other cash users you will have to if you want to win). I suppose it is also a rather decent party build as mobs will miss you if you draw in aggro by chance.

^ true. Which is why I suck. I have $ but not the gear, nothing good I can see to buy these days. Heck my rings even suck. Only good equip I have is a 5 stated MD earring which ain't even perfect. What's more is I don't use CS items. It's a costly built though I never thought it sucked since I was ignorant =\

Another advantage is not missing almost all monsters. I have 50 DEX in my build and the only thing I miss are the Joker Trumps. Only cause they do a curse, I think. And yeah, saves you the Aim scroll but imagine those 50 points in STR. Aim scrolls are common and easy to get, there ain't any Dmg/STR scrolls on the other hand.

Let's define STR free stat before we continue: For every point you put in you get 1.2 more points of free damage. Example: If you hit a mob normally for 10 damage, with 5 STR you would hit for 16. In the beginning this looks great, but in the higher levels where a lot of your damage is from Poison and Bleed, it becomes less useful than it seems.

So this build is pure STR and adds 138 more damage that armor doesn't affect. This build is good for PVP.

This one is my personal favorite and it was recommended to me by someone on these forums(forgot who it was ^_^"). It allows you to get the extra 5% crit and mana, while allowing your evasion and aim to rise. Since the DEX raises your stats by a percentage and not a defined value, it gets to be a good build in the higher levels. Also, to make up for Dex/Str/End use rings and stat'd equipment to fill the gap.

Good for PVE with a party.

Not anyone really does this, it's here for an example. If you went pure SPR, your crit and mana would go up quite a lot. Combined with CS items you could hit 30%+ crit. That's a lot IMHO!

Yeah, it does. I'm going to do 25 SPR and the rest into DEX. I already have 26 points into DEX, so i'll just start adding SPR, thanks.

Nice one T6. Hmm the STR SPR is the best IMO, though since I'm stuck with what I have here's what I'll do~

50 DEX
25 SPR

Rest into STR.

I honestly don't see the benifits of STR builds, especially for archers when there damage mostly comes from poison and bleed skills. I know of a fighter hitting 3k on orcs, an extra 100 dmg isn't doing him good when he could have had more crits or better defence.

You can't really compare the benefits of a certain stat for different classes because they're supposed to do different things. Archers aren't supposed to get hit most of the time and END+ bonus applied to them doesn't have the stats biggest benefit, the block rate.


^ I suppose the Fighter above is using Cash Shop/+9s? You don't really have to worry about damage there then really.
