In FFXI there's not criticals. The game takes the element circle into account
if you get 100% unresisted (rare at the higher levels) you might see like 25-35% over what you're used to seeing. but not crazy crits like in Fiesta.
I remember crit on a slime for like 4k maybe 5k damage.. i shoulda frapped that.. so that makes me think there's not a number limiter on the spell damage, i'd like to know how they formulate damage in Fiesta.
