I went to Outspark forums to see if anyone posted anything and I only saw your post, lol.
Try Googling the X-Trap error code perhaps and see if there's any solution for other games that has had it? That's what I did last time...

The patch was specifically supposed to fix it x_x Angry. ANGRY. And most suggestions are to turn off your firewall, but I cannot do that x.x

Well, I know a lot of tech admins at gaming forums say to disable firewall long enough to let the connection through or whatever. So perhaps you can put it down briefly to see if the error still pops up or not. If it still persists after that then you can rule out firewall.
