Aggro?

Is it possible for an Archer to take aggro? Or do they just gotta stand back? My lv. 15 Archer has 41 defence....

Any class can technically take aggro.

Just depends on circumstances.

If you hit all DoT skills (ie. poison, bleed)... and you keep hitting it at a good pace. Yes, you'll pull aggro. But it shouldn't happen if you have a good tanker.

A good advice is if you see your tank stunned or in fear... pull back on your attacks so the mob doesn't turn to you.

My question is, can an Archer with +END gear take the aggro or is it too much for them?

Yup. I can tank 4-5 Orcs at 55+ with no problems (not that I would want to) with END gear.

oh you mean like if you can tank?

Archers have been knowing to tank KQ bosses in the absense of a Fighter.

But yeah you probably need the END gear and scrolls.

I just read on the official forum that an archer solo-ed Mara KQ at lvl 24 with Cleric buff, scrolls and about 300-350 pots and stones. But he tanked and killed all for Mara/Marlone by himself.

That's... amazing. I can't imagine my archer doing that. I would have probably run out of time. I'm not even sure I could last that long. My stones/pots only go so far.

But this person sounds like a serious gamer. Would help a lot to have +9s...

oh yeah he's got a +9 bow.. but he said he's got no other cash shop items... not sure about +9 armours though....

he also had 63 HP stones, and 700+ HP Pots....

^I can totally see that happening. As long as you're not OHKO'ed by the Twin's special attacks and the subsequent normal attack, you can actually take them no problem.

Normal lvl25 Archer, with just a VIT scroll and 2 Clerics can do it, don't even have to be END build.

With scrolls and Endure, solo KQ should be highly doable.

Yup, I can take the dragon's normal attacks fine with a Cleric buff. This was before I had END armours too.

Back then my additional END consisted of +24 from Crossbow and 2 +15 END rings.
