Stone productionskill error

I have choosen to the stoneproductionskill and the scrollproductionskill but only the scroll skill work. The game says that i need a recipe level 0 to make stones, but when i try to buy the recipe it says that i already have it, but i do not have it.

Are you sure you did everything you're supposed to? You can check the outlined process here. Though the guide itself is pretty old, I don't believe anything's changed.

Is your Elrue [1] in yellow or blue?

I did not get any recipe when I clicked with right on the icon for elrue [1]. now the icon is white and it says that I already have the recipe but I did never get it. I now it because i did not lose any money on it.

So you couldnt buy the recipe, even thought you haven't bought it?

Usually it's only white out if you've already learnt the skill.

Open your stone production, can you check for me whether "Elrue [1]" is in yellow or blue??

I can't open the stone production. so i can't tell you what colour it is.

can you show us what your Alchemy skill box look like?

Does the first 2 lines look similar to this?

If you can show us a screenshot... we might be able to see the problem better..

Now drag the stone product in your quick spell box.... whatever key number it is click that key

window should come up
see if u can firguir it out

Yeah that looks right, and it shows that you already learnt the elrue 1 skill so you don't need the recipe..

Try do what fetzjr said and put it in your shortcut box, then right click it to use the skill..

From the looks of it you haven't learnt and recipes for scroll making
