Secret of the Solstice
So Fiesta has been giving me all kinds of hell lately, Sure, I'll just play this Solstice game, Can't be that bad, Right?
Well, I'm not so sure.
The graphics seem to be pretty cool, as far as they 2d/3d thing goes.
But playability?
It throws you into a massive world and says "Have fun!" But what's this?
Some of the better classes don't get changed until as high as 60.
I picked a Squire first, Cool, cool, armor, swords and whatnot, But i can't DO anything yet, I find myself muddling through endless forests filled with noob mobs, No NPC will tell me where i should be hunting, No other players will give a hand when you ask, So i continue, And go from nooblet slimes to some kind of demon-boar things, One hit-kill, Nice.
So i look at the other classes. Acolyte, A cleric on crack. Cool little heal and stun spell, And it even ranks up at like, level 45 or something, It splits into 2 different kinds of classes too!
Now all i need to do is take a shot in the dark and find out where the EXP is.
I am in the noob town, No equal-level mobs as far as the maps stretch, And when i go to Essene, (At the cost of 900 kron) I find myself even more lost at the fact that no one is STILL going to help me find out what to do/where to go, In the end, I found that i was supposed to just kill and kill and kill until i rank up, Most towns are level-limited, And i was only 28, So i find myself owning mobs for hours on end, Shuffling around endless forests, Marshes, and mountains.
What?
Come on, Does anyone else play, And if so, Will they tell me wtf i am supposed to be doing? I hate feeling like i'm stupid when it comes to an MMO.
Oh, and t he fact that the high levels are all 130 makes me mad that i feel so.... Underrated for not knowing, Like all the years i spent on Fiesta won't help me here.
