Vel'Koz conversely has such great base damages that he doesn't need to build scaling items to be effective. This is why support became his main role.

Wow, major drama happening with Star Horn Royal Club. In case you guys didn't know, they're the #2 seeded Chinese team for the world championships. They've imported 2 Korean players (ex-KT Rolster B star jungler inSec and Zero) as well as a new Korean coach.
There's some beef between their star ADC Uzi (The only remaining member of the Royal Club that came second last year at worlds) and inSec. Recently, there was a series against an amateur team and Uzi being the 'I-wanna-carry-hard' type ADC wanted to play Vayne in one of the games. inSec ignored this because apparently he didn't think Vayne was good locked in Lucian instead. Uzi was like FUCK THIS SHIT and locked in Vayne anyway. They ended up with ADC Vayne, jungle Lucian and support Lee Sin and lost pretty hard (no surprises there).
Also, their old coach got fired/stepped down (not sure?) who seemed to be really close to Uzi. Now Uzi said on weibo that he doesn't want to participate in worlds anymore.
I dunno, I've always questioned the decision to recruit Korean players to other regions. Sometimes they work out (Evil Geniuses improved as a team but they're still one of the weaker NA teams, and TSM) but more often than not, it doesn't really live up to expectations (CLG, that Brazilian team LOLOL, Coast, etc). Given the Chinese/Korean relationship issues already, this probably wasn't a good move. Communication issues are obviously bad for such a team-play focused game. Having 2 team members with massive egos creates a toxic as fuck environment (inSec and Uzi), as shown by the old CLG lineup (they had 3 people with giant egos always clashing). I really, really questioned the inSec pick up because he was seriously on the decline in the Korean scene. He had the highest amount of deaths in the OGN Masters tournament early this year. He has the habit of going way too deep by himself without any follow up. Zero turned out to be a good support for Uzi, however.

inSec, the really good lee sin player that people in game always say they're pulling?
That team has substitute players right? So they'll go to worlds anyways?

Yeah, got them all in one sitting. I think I lost 2 or 3 games in total so far...

Yeah, that's him. Although these days the term is used very loosely, I've heard. Specifically it's just Q-Q into an enemy ward-W/flas behind them and kicking them into your team. Much like how people are calling any kind of solo Nexus rush as an "xpeke" rather than a true backdoor.
Most likely, but Uzi is one of the strongest ADC players in the world so any sub would be a pretty big downgrade.
