Low level in KQ = selfish?

ok so from what i'm getting unless you get like an overwhelming amount of minimum level people in a kq it's not realyl a problem until you get up to GH and later. i say GH cause now that i think about it that may be why i failed that last one. i dont' know everybody's levels but it seems like a possibility.

Uh... not quite. The only people that even stand a chance against a Mage are Clerics. And Fighters too if they can land a successful stun and then spam skills like crazy.

Archers can easily kill mages, lol. I fought lilian's mage in gw when she was 50 or 51 *I can't remember* and I was 42 or 43. I have the screencaps somewhere, haha, and I got her pretty damn close to death. =o Archers have SPR too.

honestly, you should close your mouth about archers unless you play one and make one and put it to the test =p because I've tested mine - and I have never once felt inferior to another player or class.

I'd rather jab myself in the eyes with a rusty fork then even touch an Archer. We'll see. Let me hit level 59 on Apoline and then i'll start leveling myself up on Teva and then we can fight and see just how well Archers fair against Mages.

You seem to think archers are a terrible class. And they are to many people, because most people do not know how to build them. =)

Yes, yes I do. What do they have that the other classes don't have? Besides Nature's Protection but thats so weak. Stupid Archers keep using it when i'm nearby. >:[

What do they have that nobody else has? Higher evasion, Higher aim, which is important; example - when some of my guildies and I (we're level 43, 45, 45, and whoever we let powerlevel or whatever) level in ancient elven woods, my being there is the difference between leveling there or not, since they have much lower aim than I do, and much lower damage than I do. So, if I were a mage, I still wouldn't be useful in that situation because I'd not be able to often hit the monsters.

Also, we are more buff than a mage is - and we can do just as much damage with our DoT and our normal attacks. Most times in KQ or during a boss fight, I will get aggroed by the boss because I outdamage the others.

There have been many times that I've substituted as a tank when our fighters were busy because I can hold aggro with my damage, and survive it with ease.

Anyways, ask lilian when she comes on. I have to wait until photobucket is done with maintenance to upload screens.

I highly doubt Fiesta will make a useless class that doesn't have anything that no body else has, to be honest. What kind of a game will be stupid enough to make a class that's useless like that?

Archers are excellent damage dealers. Just because they don't deal the damage all at once doesn't mean they are crap. I, as a cleric, would love to party/train with a bunch of archers any time. They kill fast and they don't drop like ants.

Don't get me wrong, I am not saying mages aren't better - I am sure mages are wonderful in their own ways, but archers are definitely not inferior to all classes. It all depends on how you raise and play the class.

And I must say - you would need to have partied with decent archers for a fair bit before you can actually appreciate what they do. I've been partying with the two most awesome archers throughout most of my OB (and one in CB), and I really don't know how I would have leveled in a decent amount of time without them. They can be just as good as mages if they want to be, and vice versa.

I don't think there will ever be an answer as to which class is better. They always have their own advantages and disadvantages - the debates will never end.

Aww <3 *blush* but yeah, totally agree. also, I was surfing a japanese wiki for this game and archers are supposed to have a level 20 skill that buffs the party's accuracy, and another at 47 which buffs the crit rate. Apparently we don't have these ;_;

Oooh crit rate buff would kick ass, acc too for that matter. I thought I'd read somewhere once a long time ago about archers having buffs, but I just forgot all about it.
