You could have leave this part for some peace, but if you go this way, i'll join you.
The
"No it does'nt it jus means that theres so much we can do well " sentence can mean what i was talking about, so the problem could be with your composition, and not with my reading abilities.
As for the Absorbtion skill, some kind of nerf is needed, but giving a 2 minute cooldown really is ridiciolus.
My idea is to change the way it works: 30%* of the damage still hits the absorbed player, while the other 70% gets absorbed as it was before.
This would strenghten the skill in PvE (a 30% can be healed back easily via pot/stone, but this way the buff can last longer, so you can keep two characters absorbed easier, or can wait more before rebuffing yourself), but in PvP, if an Absorbed character gets focused, s/he will have a cooldown on at least one of his healing items when the Absorb wars off, so s/he will have a better chance of dying.
Even a duration increment could go with this kind of nerf.
Am hoping for some well explained opinions about this way of nerfing
from clerics.
*30%: this amout is for example only, it needs professoinals' testing to find a proper amout.
@ Niinon: arguing about skills now is more important than ever. Classes has to be balanced now, and not when the official version is out.
If noone argues about balance, then how will anyone know if something is wrong with the balance?
Also, i wasn't offending Teq until now, but i just can't ignore his flames anymore. He's insulting my person, though that has
nothing to do with the balance.
