Well, we all know that the current players in Fiesta are extremely bad at adapting. That is why you think the gameplay in Bright Kingdom won't work.

There are plenty of 2H and Axe Fighters in the game. The bleeding damage will be helpful in keeping aggro. DoT gains so much hate and when a Fighter has better DoT compared to the Archer, you can be sure that it won't go off to them.

Do Fighters need to stun? Not exactly, you've got your Concussive Charge and then you've got a Hammer Cleric who can stun as well as the Archers and Mages who are able to stun. On top of that you kill fast enough that you don't need to stun during AOE. The Clerics are all able in the game and they have the party heal earlier in-game, in their 50s.

The decreasing defense attack for Clerics? Why not? Their damage is low to begin with so lowering enemy defense is a great way for them to kill the mob. Fighters have a larger HP pool and 2H/Axe users have great damage so what's a couple points of defense off the mob? And during AOE the Fighter is to keep aggro, doesn't matter if you can inflict more damage... Archers and Mages are there to keep the damage going.

And the reason why the skills and effects are spread out through the classes? It's an MMO, therefore it's party oriented... it's to have people party with all types of classes to get the best results. Also, even if a class is missing it's made so that you are still able to do something to make up for it.

Will the skills be implemented? Not in my life-time by the way it looks. Before skills they need to fix current stats, and they've got a million bugs to solve and the biggest one currently is the relog and chat exploit.

Yeah, thats one issue. Outspark would have to implement this stuff slowly, so that the players can get used to it, if not, not notice it. Because god knows if they notice a slight difference, they will freak out. Even if it benefits them in the long run.

The biggest difference between the two games is not the actual skills but the players themselves. They are so bad at adapting that when the slightest change comes their way they freak. They don't look for way to go around it but just spam official forums with useless threads. Such as the one you said...

DUDE u r clueless WITHOUT DEVASTATE my friend a fighter can't own any class in PVP so before u say FIGHTERS dont' need a good stun go learn some more about fighter cuz this game is not all about GRINDING IN AOE. MOST players enjoy a good pvp battle and without stun u wouldn't be able to win against any class, already fighters can barely win against a good cleri like 1 in 10 tries and that is with devastate.

U R IGNORANT OF SO MANY ASPECTS OF FIESTA AND U TALK TO PEOPLE ABOUT how they adapt :/.

SEEING how people like u who don't have a clue what it means to be a fighter comes here and gives lessons about being a fighter simply just disgusts me.

See... that's the thing... with all the skills thrown around, and you've not played BK, you seem to be the one that has no idea what you're talking about.

Fiesta has it's own setup, and BK it's own. Both work for certain styles of fighting.

I believe that Fiesta almost forces players to join AoE parties, or just parties if they want to level up in a relatively short amount of time. BK gives skills and the effects of skills to each class independently as to allow them to solo with significant speed of leveling up, or if you get into a party, the difference is huge because of all the buffs from the classes coming together.

Fighters on BK don't seem to need stun. With the high DEF that they have, the high damage they have from the non-nerfed weps, and the weak monsters, they can just kill them without having to worry about dying. (solo)

A fighter and a mage get together, and then you now give: A higher INT for the party, a higher SP pool, and the mage offers über pwnage in no time, with stun. (party)

As for the PvP... the fighters have such a high damage rate... that it doesn't matter if they can stun. Try after only 2-3 hits on that mage, it's dead. Even a cleric. Maybe a few more for the cleric, but still... the DoT keeps them bleeding, and if they decide to stop, and cure, then the fighter will have another chance to hit them.

People from Fiesta really do freak out when change has arrived... and honestly... from what I'm reading, you're saying that she needs to learn about being a fighter before she says anything. But you're so used to playing Fiesta, that I bet if you were to go into BK, you wouldn't know how to handle the fighter you've been playing this whole time. New skills, new buffs at different levels, dmg, def, armour, all different. Maps are new, exp rates are different, and the community is just plain dead until you hit around 4x.

We've both (LoveLess and I) played Fiesta and BK. We know the differences. Coming from someone that's saying she'll never play BK, and then telling us how BK is dumb, and not right... you really don't have that right. Well... you do based off the 1st amendment... but it only really sounds believable if you've experienced it 1st hand, and you can legitimately based off facts, and compare/contrast events.

Neither of the games are perfect... they each have their flaws...

Class equality was obviously something that BK took into mind.

Also something I asked the Japanese player who was helping us.

"Why are there so few players on BK?"

His response:

"Because really... there are that many games in Japan."

I believe that translates to:

"Because there are millions of games in Japan, they have to make a game especially fun, and a unique experience for players in order to get them on the game, and to keep them there."

So while neither games are perfect, BK sure does pwn Fiesta. By a LONG shot.

and as for skillz... (the original point of this thread)

I don't think it's going to happen. It would be nice, but it would be almost too much of a drastic change. (I LOVE change) but if the skills were to be implimented this late after releasing... everyone would have to change their style of fighting... making Fiesta less attractive to the people that are already 6x-79 or whatever level. If someone knows how to do something, and it gets them über good exp, and items, and they're becoming pro at what they do, they feel accomplished. Take that away, and make something new, it'll be hard to break the habits, and that person might not feel so special anymore =/

AHHHHH, you guys type so much, making me lose brain cells that I used to be able to make! See D:, you made me lose brain cells now, I think brain cells can be reproduced.

back on topic:
In my opinion, fighters don't really need stun...I have a fighter and can handle CP easily without stun, just normal attacks, slice and dice and bone slicer are enough to kill mobs in CP without losing 1/3~1/2 HP. And I probably can kill clerics and archers without stun in PVP, my damage dealt to them can make them lose a lot of HP already and requires them to eat their stones almost nonstop, while the fighter have advantage of the massive..amount of stones over other classes, so you can eat your stones and not have it run out before your opponent to still beat them in a long battle.
