here's the rant i mentioned:
ok first off there was the otehr day in mara (because sometimes i just don't make it in GH) there was this mage, arwen who just wanted to rush through and every time we stopped she just wanted to rush again. then when we got the the boat and clered the one side we were trying to rest and she decided to pull mara before everyone was ready, luckily we were on our toes and took care of it without anything going wrong. then i was mad and told her not to pull before everybody was ready. she replied with "you should always be ready noobs" "i'm just trying to save time!". freaking idiot, we had over a half hour left. so after that we rested a bit before we got started again.
then somebody pulled a fake marlone, i don't know the exact circumstances so i won't get mad about that, he may have had no other choice. but what did make me mad is the fact that our tank was a retard.... wait i may be getting my maras mixed up, i've had 2 nbearly disastrous fake marlones and i'm not sure if this one was the same kq as arwen or not but i think it was so i'll finish anyways.... so we kept trying to pull it awaybut the idiot kept grabbing it again while we shouted that it was a fake but he just wouldn't freaking listen. so i ran to the other side of the boat to try to pull it over there and nearly had to solo the marines and archers over there (not too hard at the level i was, i think i was 24) so after killing them off he was still trying to kill the damn fake marlone so i gave up and decided to kill it. so of course it doesn't say anything and the idiot starts yelling at whoever pulled it for pulling a fake when we told him a million times. so i got really mad and didn't want anymore screw ups so i ran up and decided i would be the next puller. asked if people were ready, nobody said anything, i waited a minute then saw a mage and anotehr archer running up and didn't want him to screw it up so i told them i was pulling, pulled the real marlone, ran down telling people to run, the tank got it, and we finished the kq.
the other nearly disastrous fake marlone was when somebody pulled it and it did the thing when after it killed somebody it just stands there acting stupid so i once again ran over to the other side to pull it over cause the fighters were having trouble doing it and i had spare lives anyways (i rarely die in a mara kq unless i'm just not paying attention or like i'll explain later) so i get it all the way over to the wall and it kills me there. so i was asking if anyone could res me if they didn't mind and the cleric in my party starting walking over and was about to but from the angle the camera was at i couldn't see how close he was getting so i said be careful so he stopped for a second and moved back a little. well this other idiot in my party decided to shoot the fake marlone and drag it back over to the other side causing the cleric to have to run and maybe even get killed. and they had already pulled the real marlone so tehy were fighting that. i ressed, the fake marlone killed some people but luckily started being stupid again and we were able to finish.
in anotehr mara we had more than a couple moments of stupidity. some idiot pulled the first mara or marlone early (can't remember which). nearly got us killed there, i tried to kill him with mara by not using nature's protection so it came after me while i was standing next to him but unfortunately he got smart and ran so i missed. was gonna try it again but i was low on lives and mara was low on hp. then when we got up to the final boat found out our tank didn't even have taunt. he said it didn't do enough damage and had a large charge or something stupid like that. so while we were fighting marlone i was telling the archers not to use skills and to use nature's protection as much as possible so they wouldn'y draw aggro since our tank didn't have sneering kick. one of them either had started doing it on her own or listened to me, the other didn't so i tried to tell him again, i really didn't want to fail because of it. we were in this kq with only 2 clerics, neither with res and only one tank and he didn't have sneering kick. so after we killed marlone some cleric named iamaboy or soemthing like that got mad at me and called me an ass cause i kept tellign them not to use skills. and the retard tank was getting mad too like i had said something against him. telling me then why don't i tank. CAUSE I'M A FUCKING ARCHER YOU RETARD -oops sorry bout that-. honestly he was freaking level 25 and when i had my fighter i was a better tank than him at lvl 23, at least i could keep the boss on me but no, i didn't say anything to him. and the cleric just kept going on telling me not to give orders and that they only take orders from this other guy. oh yea now i remember why that cleric got really mad at me, cause he told them to use poison and i told them not too. poison and bleeding, at least when i use them, draw agro more often than aimed and power shot do. and he was saying something like telling archers not to use poison is like telling mages not to use spells which is stupid since unlike mages archers can still do ok damage without skills. yes i was afraid that the mages might accidently draw agro but i knew that that was the only way they could attack and i couldn't just tell them not to, i could only hope it wouldn't happen. and the thing is the guy who he said was the onyl person he was taking orders from said i was right and that we were kinda low levels as a group and a lot of people had already died out and we had plenty of time left (over 20 minutes left with just one last boss to kill) so we didn't need to take chances, but apparently that idiot cleric couldn't figure this out for himself. but luckily we finished the kq. the mages stuck to their lower level magic missile i think, at least that's what i thought i saw. i haven't played mage much so i can't be too sure.
now in this next one nobody did anything particularly stupid, it was just frustrtating:
it was a GH, i noticed early on that we were taking kinda a long time to kill stuff. also for some reason when we got to the boss the tank lost agro like 4 times i think so we ended up running out of time
i think that's the end of my kq rants, at least for now, might get more tomorrow since i'm still not too high for mara so if i get really bored at the right time i might do it D:
