^ You do realize that about three quarters of the people who posted in here either play a cleric as a main or as an alt right?

And no, it is not always our own fault if things went wrong. Not in this KQ case, anyway. I was in the same KQ the thread starter talked about. In fact, we both have clerics as our main, so I'm pretty sure we know how to tell the difference. I'm sure everyone else in this thread also knows how to tell the difference between accidental deaths and a bad cleric.

As for your story I'd say you just had a bad day, but don't go telling everyone to get over themselves when there isn't any "getting over" to do. Thank you.

You can start a thread about incompetent "tankers" then... (actually i think there's a few out there)...

and as for "Do it yourself" I HAVE done it myself, thank you very much. Ask anyone that has done KKP with my cleric, I can tank when I need to, and I can support when there's a proper tank. I can do both, and I act on circumstances.

My post are for those new clerics obviously need a lot of tips from experienced clerics.

Unfortuntely, the clerics that were in my MD CANNOT kill monster, and they cant buff squats either.

If you can, good on you, u're probably a good cleric. My advise goes to those that still has a lot to learn.

There was nothing more I could do as a mage.. I kept myself alive, and do dmg from a distance. I already minimised cleric's load and allow them plenty of time to only heal the tank. It must be my fault that mage cant do the job for clerics.

what you say is not of much fact ... this kind of thing goes on several times a day EVERY DAY!

You probably aren't on enough to know ...

Clerics do have it kind of hard.. I'm failing on my nub cleric LOL. I haven't even learned my shortcuts yet, and I have a really slow reaction when it comes to healing party members xD

My cleric is still low leveled though, and I don't play her too much, so I'm still learning. This explanation can't exactly go for some other clerics. When you play a class up to a certain level, you should start to be able to understand how they work... 2x, even 3x clerics are easy to forgive, but if you don't understand that the purpose of heal is to keep other party members alive, and that the purpose of rez is to help that person dead on the floor by 5x, then you are one fail cleric. In that case, the rest of the party is NOT to blame!

When I first started playing the game, I wasn't very picky about clerics... heals are better than dying right? xD But after I got to know a few amazing clerics and was wowed by their tactics, I started getting annoyed at clerics who fail to keep me alive. I won't deny that it's hard to watch 5 different HP bars, but if they can't keep alive a party that's buffed and scrolled and doing their best (stoning, potting etc.), then they aren't doing their job.

i've been playing on both my desktop and laptop at the same time, so I understand how hard it is to keep your party alive, but when I only play on one account, I find it really easy for me to take care of a party ^^.

I've run a couple of MD's these past couple of days and noticed that our cleric DD ratio is terrible, so I've been running my cleric just because I'm well good at that class as well. The one I remember that was really silly was the one where there was only 1 cleric. Me. Some how, I managed to keep everybody alive, keep the tank healed and also rez people who died XD. This was with all 15 people. They were like wft, how does one cleric do so much XD ^^.

Well I must say.. We probably dont party with randoms often enough to know... Our guildies are great enough...

The only time we do party with randoms are in KQ... hence the rant...

@neko - if only the clerics in my KQs are half as good as you, this thread would not exist!!

lol i know, i complain when i run md on my mage >.< clerics are terrible XD...
granted all of the skills i've picked up are from my wife after healing me over the course of the year ^^

XD That's why I made my mage MD-tankable, coz I'm fed up with no decent tanks!

Then i ran into the problem of no decent clerics >.>

I can't be everything!

Then maybe you could try joining several MDs on another char, and you'll also see what we mean because you probably haven't been playing enough MD to know.

I'm not trying to be mean, or "picking on you", it's just that I hope for you to see both sides of the story properly before telling people to get over themselves.

We know that there are both crappy players in all classes, yet there are wonderful players as well. We are just ranting about the crappy players in this particular thread.
