Most people find it more user friendly, there's more useful functions, and apparently more security?

you can even install add-ons to it...

there was an add-on called Cooliris that lets u preview the webpage by just scrolling ur mouse over the link.. i found that pretty cool! and it lets u temporarily bookmark the links so its awesome for research...

An internet browser that is much more efficient than Internet Explorer.

However, some plug-ins do not work as well in Firefox as they do in IE.

Firefox is more customizable, and as Hessah put it, IE is a "Firefox wannabe."
