I came home from uni to find my internet has died. And I've been at my cousin's all night to use their internet to work on my report due tomorrow. Now I'm back home, and the internet is -sort of- working again. Some guy is coming to check out our cable tmr or something, so hopefully I'll have better internet connections tomorrow.

Meanwhile, I would like to call Helion up.

Helion, would you please recount exactly what you saw at the time of the crime on June 24th, and why you were at the apartment when it happened.

Edit: the book thingy was a joke, cos I understand that witness may be "legitimately" a liar and stuff. But I thought it'd be cool beans to make it REALIZZZZZZZTIC *0*

Can you give a newb friendly description for me? Like
Jury: decides wheter the person is guilty or innocent.
Winesses: Give information about the crime. May or may not lie.

WITNESS STATEMENT

I swear to tell the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, so help me Blaaahs........er, I mean God.

On the night in question, I went to pick up my girlfriend Hessah for our date to the movies. As I arrived, I saw Jackaroo running away from Hessah's apartment. He dropped something as he ran out of the door. I looked at it and saw that it was a bracelet. I went into the apartment to find Hessah dead laying in a pool of blood.

No, plenty will happen here; the only things not here will be the talk between attourneys. all things with the witnesses will be here.

and i dont really see the point in that, since you were able to summarize them yourself o_o

Okay, here's a basic description.

Defendant: May or may not testify. Has the goal of proving themself innocent.
Judge: Makes sure everyone stays in line
Defense Attorney: Questions witnesses to try to prove the defendant innocent
Prosecutor: Questions witnesses to try and prove the Defendant guilty

Then there's the plea deal; the prosecution may offer the defense a plea deal, which they can either accept or not accept. basically, it's offering a draw.
