I disagree about clerics should be nerfed. If we're nerfed, you guys will have a harder time training.

We're seriously not all that great. We kill slow, and I mean slow. We are good at surviving and that's only about it. We're very much like fighters, except we can heal without using a stone. We only have one offensive skill. In guild wars, I was never able to kill someone properly around my level because I hit too slow and my damage isn't great. I can't do that three-hits-and-your-dead thing like mages so they don't have time to heal themselves. But since we can't kill properly, we're given the skills to at least survive. What's the use of having a character that can't kill and can't survive? Dx

Lmao I used to believe clerics needed a nerf in CB1 When absorption had a 30second duration and 8 second cooldown which made GWs cleric wars

But after a SERIES OF rapes on clerics by the nerf bat..I think thier fine atm. Its quite easy to knock em dead with right coordination.

Honestly I don't get the idea of nerfing clerics either. >_>

People in general rave on about clerics way too much in this game, for one reason or another. Clerics are THE support class of fiesta in a party, so you always prefer to have one, but beyond that, they lose out to every other class in terms of abilities.

and MagesRequiem, you say archers can never come near a mage in terms of damage, but I doubt you've seen a good archer in action. Yeah, there are lots of them in the beginning levels, but later on they diminish in numbers ALOT. but the issue is kind of moot since we play on different servers.

further, if you think the distinction between mages and archers is so great already, why should mages be amped up? Mages are the hardhitters already. making them more powerful would make mages ridiculous.

range atkers hv gotta learn to watch the mob they're killing and if the tanker loses the aggro for watever reason, you've gotta run! and not just stand there and hope that the mob will stop aggroing you... you've got all that distance to see the mob coming... USE IT!

Problem is people expect them to be the stereo type support class. Flimsy, weak back line supporter, while in Fiesta their given a head by also being able to atleast fight in the Front lines. Technically thier not so much support but a hybird. Since clerics can opperate well in every aspect the stereotype weakness of the healer class of being easy to kill is taken away, thier only true weakness being thier low attack power. Because of the defiance of the stereotype it makes people feel uneasy to cleric's combat abilities...

LOL well I do think rokaraged's cleric was a bit lousy if he/she went to talk to someone else while the tanker is tanking heaps. D:

@Hessah: cleric rants about rangers reminds me of Wacky a lot. I always complain about people not using stone only to realise that the archer I party a lot never uses a stone, LOL! I realise a lot of the times, when I can't or didn't for some reason heal him, he'd just drop dead. He told me he's too cheap to use a stone. ;D Then again, he doesn't complain, so that makes up for it. :3333

Honestly i don't recall partying with you at all...But i have bad short term memory

Let that happen on purpose though? Look not everyone takes dying so happily especially me. 1% means time loss and thats a substantial amount later on in the leveling. Theres also loss of buffs AND scrolls which have to be rebought
IMO clerics have a job to do and if he slacks a little while everyone is grinding a major risk has been put up because the cleric is the LIFELINE of the group.

What if you died because the tank decided that instead of keeping agro he wanted to talk to his friends? I try my very best to keep my party mates alive by taking agro (although I do fail alot) and It should be acceptable that the cleric does the same in healing.

I've never said you do let this happen on purpose.
But really you just acknowledged that you shouldn't let accidents like this happen in the first place >.>

haha i just want to see mage and archers doing something about prolonging their lives... coz i've played as a mage in slime KQ.. and when i see a slime run up to me and i knew i cant take 2 hits.. i run... run in circle.. someone will eventually take the slime off me and i wont be dead... and i easily out run any 1 mob with that distance...

@Rokaraged no i was just kidding keke if he loses the aggro for like 10 sec us clerics can probably keep everyone alive as long as he come back after he finish talking

us cleric doesnt just stand there and talk.. we do heal too! but sometimes the chatbox is opened at the wrong time that's all

Thats just one humble Mages opinion. You don't have to stab it viciously as if it were a monster. And everyone says Mages are the hard hitters but how are we supposed to hit hard when casting level [01] spells, hm? If we try casting anything else it takes too long. And taking too long to cast spells is never a good thing especially when we can't take hits. When fighting mobs my level higher I do about 100 to about 120 points of damage and I don't crit as often as i'd like.

And when I hit their health bar goes down to about || this much each time. Thats not much. And i'm using a Wand so the M. Damage is better than that of a Staff and i'm still not doing much. Don't get me wrong, we hit hard but when an Archer can claim they do more damage than us, then whats the point of us even existing? I'm not saying we should be able to do God like damage but a little bit more would be nice.

I'm rather tired of having to rely on Clerics just to grind about 60 or less EXP. Anything higher just kills me off too quickly. Another minor complaint I have about Mages is their M. Defense. Its higher than others but not by much. And we're practically overflowing with magic. I'd like for us Mages to be wanted not to be tossed aside for an Archer or some other class.

@Zotius: I never said you did. I was talking about most Fighters. You could be an exception. But I wouldn't know because i've never partied with you.
