Clerics are the easy ones to KS, they can't leetch without being noticed ( and commented "HEAL!"), and they can't afk for more than a very short time. Often, when I complete and leave to turn in a quest I will come back to find the rest of the party in their houses resting and taking a break awaiting my return. Party members go to rest during lulls but rarely at the same time. When does the cleric get a break? Often the loss of the cleric causes a breakup of the party.

I may be making it sound worse than it is, there are many considerate plp out there who value and support their clerics. prolly cuz they been there!
QFT~!

When I play on my mage, and can let myself get distracted a little bit while my AoE's are killing things. I can read the chat and type every now and then. You don't get any of that as a cleric, sadly. Well you do, just that it'll result in the death the party. xD

No it is not always the clerics fault
What happens, especially the higher level you are is usually there are to many people in the party to heal per damage they are recieving. I've had this happen many times. Instead of one person tanking and holding the agro they all will attack at the same time and in turn will all be receiving damage. Sometimes it is just to much for a cleric to keep everyone healed even with their heal spell maxed out. The mistake most clerics make and this would make it their fault is also attacking the enemy instead of hanging back and healing. I know it is hard to sit back and do nothing but heal while everyone else is having the fun but that's what clerics are supposed to do. lol it's even harder to do when everyone else is getting the drops. Good players in a party will let one person attack a mob and then support that one person. This way the cleric only has to heal one person instead of trying to keep everyone in the party alive.

^Almost all the reasons why Clerics need to find cool people to party with. People you describe who can't tank mobs, work together and loot for themselves are people you don't need to know especially as a Cleric xD

It can be everyones fault, fighters for getting too much mobs/not mocking+devastating.

Mages for not using aoe skills while they should, same for archers.

i was NEVER plvled. it took hard work and tons of KQs to get to my current level (and thank you to a lovely place called RoA).

it's SUPER stressful being a cleric! my ingame husband LOVES to mob (he's a mage). he'll mob up so many monsters that sometimes he'll die b/c my heals r not quick enough... and i know he uses HP stones. my heal is maxed out on power *how much i heal* and cooldown - i have Heal[13].

and stressful in KKP KQ when you're the ONLY cleric out of 12-15 people, and have to keep EVERYONE alive. almost had a heart attack the first time that happened (at level 70, lol)

CLERIC FTW!!!

actually in my case, ive found it better to stand pretty much in the AoE range of whoever you are partying with. If your standing far away and suddenly a bunch of mobs come running after you, it gonna be a wild goose chase. If you are standing in the AoE range, fighters can easily mock the mobs back, mages can easily magic burst (or w/e) the mobs back, and archers can of course mist.
(this is of course is in the thought that you are partying with lvl51+ people XD )

I agree, depending on the situation, if i pull aggro i will go on the attack or take it to the main mob where the main tankers can grab it.

But this is off topic "is it the clerics fault?" The only one that can truely answer that question is the cleric involved and their hindsight as to what else they could have done to prevent the death.

Senyx The Soulless one is an unknown quantity at this point
Seeing as the only thing a Cleric CAN do is heal, It depends on the part formation, If there is only one cleric and multiple members taking damage, No, If therei sonly one member and he somehow dies because you're switching to another techno remix of the Angry german Kid on youtube, Yes.

Not that hard to keep hitting 2222222222
