That's exactly what a fail mum would do! Can't solve your own kid's problems and bring it to someone else. WTH?

But I believe that's all taught from a young age, as little as 2 years old. I see my sister-in-law teaching their little kids, if she said no, then she stays firm with it. No amount of rolling on the floor would change her mind.

I wonder if my stance will change when I have my own kids to discipline xD

Definitely never give in. They will clickly learn you take no BS. I'm like that with my nephew. He likes to test me and is used to my mom giving in to him (even she can be kinda bad at it at times), so when I say no, he can destroy the entire house if he wishes while throwing a fit, he's not getting his way.

Make sure you get him to fix the house after he destroyed it. He's not getting away with that either!

Yeah he usually ends up getting in trouble with my dad. I like to leave evidence of how he behaves with me.
