Any general tips for a newbie?

I think all classes have their selling points, but I found that the cleric was the least money intensive class, because they can heal themselves and don't need to use stones or potions as often. They were fairly slow levelers solo, but always welcomed in a group.

However, we get very poor from buying skills later on in game. I'm not sure if it's because clerics have more skills to get or whatnot, but I always get broke from buying skills while my friends don't seem to complain about that as much (or maybe they're just naturally more rich than me!). But we all somehow manage in the end. xD

MM/LB -> IB -> FB -> MM/LB

And repeating up the levels.

Classes are typical mmorpg with str, end(stam), int, and dex. Cleric is a good starter since it's durable and low maintenance. Only sell to shops and not npcs, but check with npc to see how much you should sell to others cause some shop are setup to buy for less than npcs would buy. Some player shops try to scam you, so double check the prices before you buy. Like bla~ahs said keep all scroll, but i'll add potion too. Stone is nice but who wants to take a chance at losing your gear...
Check Wiki, it's useful. Do all the quests since some of them give you free gear!! And they give you a good area to level up. Pets are nice but not worth buying for 2 digits silver. While grinding, occasionally stop and harvest the mushroom, wood, herb, flower, starfish, and clam. They all got to do with some type of repeatable quest and some production skills.
Fight green named monster for some exp and quick farming/money. Fight yellow named monsters for best xp and less downtime. Do not engage reds unless you're ready to waste lotsa stones and pots. When fighting, do not ks (kill steal). Try not to train others, that's running towards a person/group with monsters chasing you. That's all i can think of.
