Clerics Getting Abused

In all honesty, I was probably the crappiest cleric back in CB. The only person I healed was myself, LOL.

I'm playing a cleric and am yet to get abused verbally. Good thing one of the few parties I joined in Slime KQs understood me and used their HP pots/stones while I was busy healing others, but that didn't happen very often. I tend to meet those who expect to be healed 24/7. =.='

So am I not alone? Are all the clerics bad mouthed even though we try keeping people alive? I am very open to helping people and I will even go beyond what is required of me for other people. Thats how I make friends.

I cant say that i've faced much of the things that happened to you..

but that's because I dont put up with crap... ppl dont make it seq for me and take all the drop... they can use their own stones and pots...

people start a fight, i fight back... (or run away LOL)

People demand stuff and be rediculous... i ignore them...

If they're not gonna be considerate for me, then i usually pay the same respect back...

I mean, why get upset for idiots when u're there to have fun!

That might work but the examples I listed were people outside my party...I kept everyone in my party happy but I don't really feel like trying to take care of 10 people. Not doubting your feasible argument. I have been around many clerics who do stupid stuff like your talking about. I really love it when clerics try being fighters and get 1 hit by Marlone. I just dislike it when people demand me to be more then I can/willing to do. I think there was a reason parties were made to have a limit of 5....not 10.

I try not to get mad and I am slow to anger. I try my best even though I am human. However, I don't fight back and even if I am with a bunch of idiots. I try my best to make the best of it. Besides I tend to bend head over heels for people...that is friends only. However, I am playing with kids...so I guess this is the only thing I can be...

I just needed to rant a little. Releasing tension in a controlled environment is much better then exploding on a kid who just slipped up. That would be bad....

But what I said is true; there are a lot of clerics who can't take care of their party well. At first, it's okay because everyone's still learning and there's bound to be mistakes, but after tons of grinding and more experience, aren't you supposed to learn something?

Nope! I still run into the same wall everyday when I come home for school and work. Even after 12 years of doing it I still somehow run into the wall.

But come on, we all know that grinding takes up a large portion of fiesta. In 2x it's understandable if you make a mistake, 3x forgivable, 4x alright, but by 5x or 6x people should seriously get the hang of things XD

Yea try being the cleric in a party of 3 mages and an archer in spider kq

non stop healing / using sp stones AND hp stones because they agro you too when you cast recover because every other party member is squishy.. eventually you run out of ability to heal yourself from the pot and stone cooldown and yep you die.. use a heart you have plenty in spider.. but now
the party buffs are all gone and you still have to wait 5 secs for the spawn cooldown and meanwhile 2 mages die and start yelling at you.. ok skip the party buffs for now.. quicken.. double invince 1 for the archer 1 for the mage.. rev the first mage to die.. success.. now spam heal for 30 sec til you can rev the other mage.. invince has died now and is still cooling.. start to rev mage 2...mage one dies again because they have no buffs and starts yelling again because they didnt get rebuffed or healed.. this entire process repeats itself because they INSIST on being revived instead of using hearts.. YOU GET 8!!! but no... every person has to yell at you for not healing them
while the whole time you are frantically trying to manage all spells and cooldowns for max effectiveness for the party..

After that KQ there are 2 female mages I will never heal or rev again because they spent the rest of the KQ spamming how much of a useless cleric I am and even in the following kq tried to tell others not to party me because I'm a failure.

They are clueless and lost a VERY good cleric for the life of the game.
