shield aim and hp scrolls are the best combo for pve really..specially for mages since you have alot more stopping power then most class you will always be killing higher lvl mobs...so the aim scrolls are useful since you wont be able to hit them without it...low defense and low hp explain the other two.

I am able to tank Mara Kq boss with that combo but without them there is a huge noticable difference.
