Looks like the menian outfits are gonna be permenant.. so i reckon they'll slowly bring out the costumes with 7/30 days..then after a bit they put it on sale for perm later...
economic strategy... expensive hard cover book always gets released a few months before cheap soft cover books....

BK had 7 day, 30 day, and permanent in the store. They wouldn't go to permanent.. they'd eventually lose money.

Well not necessarily... I mean... people buy the perm outfits whenever a new one is released... and then when they get bored of them... then they sell them in game for like 1g-30g... or some people just buy them and sell them right away.
Either way... Outspark will keep getting money... if they allow the perm items to be tradeable.

Permenants should not have stats, then it'll be fine. If you want stats then you'll get it for 7/30 days... or have limited time offers for permenant stat costumes (which BK has going on right now which adds damage).
I'm kind of tempted to go and buy the Valentine package then save it til they implement the class balances. :3 I don't care much for the battlegrounds right now...
