well with some forum members having 5mb gif images in their signatures (which are very nice btw and doesn't bother me), i don't think a few <100kb images would hurt any..

I use two different programs. Literally about 98% of those signitures were made useing a photo editing software..the name of which I cant remember now because the disk is at home and I am at college..
Yours (and mine..as well as maybe one or two more) were made using Photoshop 6.0, which I am less experienced at for making banners.. but Im working on that..
