can I use an axe effectively?

well thought it obvius, but lets go into detail then

if we only count 3% for a 1h sword and 5% for an axe, the latter will do more crits in lets say 1 hour, even due its slower hits.

sword: 3% crit chance, 3272 hits per hour, 98 cirts per hour
axe: 5% crit chance, 2400 hits per hour, 120 crits per hour

but if someone would add spr to get 5% crit, wear 2% crit earrings and max out a lv60 licence.. wield a rare weapon (5% crit for the sword, 7% for the axe), sword will crit a lot more often

(this means 5% crit from SPR, 2% from earrings, 5% from the licence for BOTH weapons. then 5% base crit from the rare sword and 7% base crit from the rare axe)
sword: (5+2+5+5) 17% crit chance, same 3272 hits per hour, 556 crits
axe: (5+2+5+7) 19% crit chance, same 2400 hits, 465crits

now before you jump on my post again, this isnt about which weapon is better, nor about damage, its just the plain number of critical hits in 1 hour of constant bashing. exactly like my previous post
