Yeah I read a couple discussions on the main forums and it was so angsty and ragey for no reason.

forreal. One of the top comments was something like "if summoners are no longer part of the lore than what's going to happen to the map name Summoner's Rift? I hope they don't take it away"
it could be called bikini bottom for all I care and would not take away from my enjoyment of the game.

There was also a group of people threatening to leave the game if Riot didn't start implementing ranked queues for dominion. That was pretty funny
