The FONA Weekly: Friend to Foe - April 2nd, 2014

Let's see what has been going on in Isya lately...
'Twas a casual week for the GMs, who spent most of their time working on various projects. Among the GMs, a few staff members got together and formed a little group known as the Pranksters for April's Fools. With their knowledge of forbidden and hilarious magic, they summoned a stampede of Prankster Kebings, which they later unleashed onto the servers. As a result, portal gates in Elderine and Uruga were swapped and moved players to places they did not expect. We could say we're very proud of this year's April Fools Day.
On another note, Swoos came up to the team and said that he had been practicing his acting skills for a while already, and that he would like to perform in front of everyone. Everyone attended his play "Slimelet" by William Trumpyspear. At one point, Swoos majestically shouted the words "To be or not to be?" "Eureka!" answered Pi. Thanks to Swoos and his acting skills, the solution to the Arena KQ problem was discovered. Indeed, explorers no longer have to answer the dilemma of choosing a team in Arena KQ, it will be chosen automatically for everyone! To be or not to be red or blue would be no more.
The crowd gave Swoos and the other comedians a standing ovation. The next day, everyone was back in Headquarters working on their projects. In William Trumpyspear's words, "parting is such a sweet sorrow that we shall say goodbye till it be next week."
Maintenance will start tonight at the regular time of 10pm PDT and is expected to open back up at 1am PDT. Here are the full patch notes:
Changes:
Trading is no longer permitted in the Free Battle Zone maps
Bug/Error Fixes:
Teams are now randomized for the KQ Arena
Kick Votes can no longer be initiated in the KQ Arena (only)
Improvements have been made towards fixing the issue where monsters run off the map in Kingdom Quests
Empowerments increasing skill effect duration now function correctly (mainly for Ice Blast, Stifle, and Chain Casting)
When vending items that are bind on equip in personal shops, mousing over the item now shows that they are bind on equip in the item description
Time extensions on KQ Arena items no longer reset when the character logs out
KQ Arena items can no longer be unbound
Added sound effects to the Billy the Goat mount
