Label all of the seats with numbers, and when everyone shows up, have them pull a number out of a hat.

Good idea.. I shall rig the system and secretly give the good numbers to friends and families first..

then they put their hand in the box with paper in hand already.. and pretend to put out a number that just happen to seat my family with me xD
