Survival guide for the non-SC Mage 65+ (Be prepared to read)

LOL If you need to use so many skills before your dropping fights, GG. I played mages and fighters on officials for over 2 years, not to mention numerous private servers ... being one of the most feared players on them; I think I know what I'm talking about.

If your without +9's you shouldn't bother pvp'ing anyone other than someone with just as bad gear as you. It's no wonder you can't beat anyone with SC, as your not going to do that without +9's, it just won't work.

INT and SPR !! How much can I stress these are the only useful FREE STATs you should be putting points into as a mage.

NOMNOMNOM senior player eating away.

PS - If you have to go through such a large skill rotation to kill a fighter as a mage, you are seriously doing something wrong.

Thanks senior player for finally giving feedback! XD now int spr in battle of mage vs mage, hows that go PS- the skill rotations are only needed vs a mage not any other class, i probably should have cleared that in the guide too so noted. No comment on +9.

Seriously...without a +10 wep you can hardly get through a somewhat decent +0 95 blue set with +3 jewels.

So, no +10 wep: don't pvp. Go earn some gold through skills and buy one first.

well I can see why so many mages are getting +10 for pvp. One class: clerics. I created one and buffed him normally, It took a mage 3 levels higher than me with a +9 and a skin+ charms to kill me. On top of that i didnt see him or have the endure skill. I guess the point is the clerics Hp and M.def is jacked up so high that its hard to take down.

Correction: pretty much all mages are getting +10 for pvp. Getting +10 is not saying that you use SC. If you cannot earn say 60 or 70 gold by level 90, you are not trying.

Do you start earning gold through quests? Right now I'm in my 50's on my highest character and getting minimum silver. I currently have 1G+ some silver....that silver fluctuated because I need to buy mats cuz I was stupid enough to not get decomp/comp...I guess it was my first char so w/e...

Over 2g. It was a 9x quest.
