Unfortunately, most Chinese food advertised as "spicy" here in the states is anything but spicy. If I want spicy asian food, I go for Thai food.
I used to have 2 bottles of hot sauce from a small specialty company. The first one was esentially boiled down habanero peppers. 1 drop was enough to put heat into a 2 gallon container of BBq sauce. It's name was "Holy Shit". My favorite though was something much more wicked. 1 half drop was enough to put some serious heat into a 5 gallon container of chili. A friend took a bet to taste a bit of the pure stuff - he said he couldn't taste anything for several days afterward. The name of this wonderfully evil sauce??? "Colon Blow"
