Titles?

I've been attempting to grab the silent title for some time now, but have had no luck. For those who don't know, apparently silent comes after 48 game hours without speaking.

I did get the stammerer title, which comes after three hours, but I have yet to receive quiet or silent.

What I wish to know is; does this title even exist? Has anyone else gotten it? Can someone help me out? I'm starting to feel bad about ignoring people in game, and I'd hate someone to think I'm a bot

yes it exists.

best bet is to tell everyone on your friends list and in your guild you are attempting to get silent title. then just go AFK in town for 2 days.

Qiuet Title does exist. However, my friend was going for it and the server would boot her randomly, so she gave up on obtaining it. Lady-Loki also tried for it when she went out of town, but was booted also. Maybe once thier servers are more stable it will be easier to obtain.

New question? Do you get fame for getting titles? I just thought titles were titles and there was nothing really special about them. But, I read in another post about fame, that you should try to get as many titles as you can, because it increases your fame. Is that true?

Yes, you get fame.

But you have to not talk for 48 hours in the same map in order to get Silent.

So I should be like all those annoying people in the mines and go in there to shout a whole bunch of times about nonsense stuff?

Don't you have to shout like 100 times within one hour to get whatever title it is?

I rarely talk outside of guild, party, and whisper chat, so I can't say.

Can I log out and then come back to the same map to continue the streak? Or does it have to be on one continuous log in?

It has to be one continuous log... (so if u got d/c, relog it wont work) but in contrary to what Triumph said... you don't have to stay in the same map... The one where you have to stay in the same map is for Fiesta Guardian. You may as well try and AFK for 2 days and get both title at once.

For silent title, you cannot talk, whisper, guild chat, party chat.

And @ Spirit... The 1st shouting title is Announcer. People say its 100 shouts, I didn't count how many I did before I got that title, but it didnt take long at all. But you cannot do other chats when u're going for shouting titles. Shouts ONLY all the way~
