Well each of these problems may have a different solution.
#1 if you're getting a white screen it could be a few things
A: Your graphics card is not configured properly to play fiesta
B: You computer is taking a bit of time to load fiesta (happens to me sometimes) but it will load eventually. The speed of your internet connection and the amount of RAM you have can affect the performance and load times
#2 New cloths on your character? Are you talking about Spark Cash items and clothing or just the regular gear in the game. If you're refering to SC items, make sure that you have activated them onto the character that you want to be wearing them, you'll find them in the premium items menu on your inventory screen.
If you're just refering to the regular gear in the game make sure that its for your character class, otherwise I don't recall any gear for any class that is available at lvl 21, normally its on even numbers that the next level of gear is available (ex lvl 20 armor is avail, then lvl 22 helmet or boots I think is unlocked.)
#3 The characters are stored on the online system so they can be accessed from any computer that has the fiesta game installed onto it. You characters probably are not lost.
#4 Titles do not in any way affect your character's performance or abilites, they are only a sign or a way to show off that you have accomplished something, like getting "Enhancement Artist" for upgrading a weapon or piece of armor to +8
#5 Yea the guide when playing the game is a lil short on words. You are always welcome to read these forums, they have many great articles or ask a question to get a good answer. Don't forget to try shouting in the game itself ( /s to shout) and usually someone should be able to answer you.
