Well, it was the first one that he created himself, so some leeway is alowed... which other ones did you think were better, though? All i've seen so far are Totoro, Spirited Away, and Castle in the Sky

im really confused... O_o
EDIT: nvm, looked it up. still dont know where hrae's coming from.
Anyway, yeah, it looks good, i'll make sure to check it out v.v
I love that miyazaki's an anti-war enviornmentalist/feminist. When you really think about it, he expresses it pretty well in his movies. and they're the kinds of themes i like.

It's a race from the Star Trek universe, the Nausicaans. They were named after Nausicaä, a character from The Odyssey. The film you're talking about is also named for that character. Just a bit of visual wordplay.

i know, i was just refferring to his work in general. i heard nausicaa's anti war, as is Howl's Moving Castle.
And i dont know if that's entirely true. Some people's greed make them think that war is a business. Cheney, for example.

MIYAZAKI!
Yeah, it's pretty obvious he's a feminist/anti-war person. You can see the message scattered all over his works (which are awesome WAHAHA).
Howl's Moving Castle is one of my favourites.
Princess Mononoke, the Castle of Cagliostro, Kiki's Delivery Service, Pom Poko (super random but funny LOL), My Neighbours the something (forgot name =_=), Whisper of the Heart, Ponyo (which I never finished LOL), Spirited Away, are some of the other Studio Ghibli's I've watched.
I've seen Grave of the Fireflies too, but I don't remember much since I watched it a long time ago. All I remember is that it's really sad so I dunno if I want to watch it again. ._.
I've watched Castle in the Sky as well, but that's the only one I found boring I think... ^^;;
Haven't watched Nausicaa yet, tell me if it's good. :D
>edit
Howl's Moving Castle IS slightly anti-war. In fact, almost ALL of his works are.
