Go to the guild master in Roumen or Elderine and click on Join Academy, then scroll through the list and find the one you want. Be sure to check if it is one that pays you to level, though. Some do, some don't. Also, if you haven't chosen skills yet, you can put the drops you pick up to good use and make items to sell in a vendor. The best skills to make money with are scrolls and stones in my opinion. Also, players in Elderine also have a row of shops beside the storage area that will pay you more than the NPCs looking for the drops you get - just check around, sell for the highest price, and make the money.
