The governments do have such power, but yeah, you'd figure such things would leak out, hoping someone amongst those in the "higher ups" in these "plans" has concern for his fellow man.

I watched a documentary on some theory on how the government is going to make it so we all have to get this little pill-like chips injected into us, and it basically serves as our IDs, and then they can just out of no where swipe out our entire existance, all files on us, history, credit, etc.

i do like watching those things, some of them are interesting
i just dont believe most of it.
Its like everything the government do, is trying to destory this world or something.

These are the same people running the DMV. Do you really think they could keep a centuries-old cabal going for so long without any sort of disgruntled member coming forward? You should really listen to this Alex Jones a bit more. He's a raving nutbar. He's about on the lines of David Icke.

Politicians have never done anything but fix the mistakes of other politicians.

The people have no control. Anyone who believes their voice really matters in this system is quite gullible. Direct Democracy > Representative Democracy.

See the above cartoon. We humans are machines that love to find patterns in things even when there aren't any. I have a strong suspicion that this is the origin of both religion and conspiracy theories and why they are so popular. It's a feature that's turning into a bug.

Also, about the democracy thing...I hope you're joking. Direct democracy would be madness on any sort of medium-to-large scale. We'd be voting every week. Amongst other problems, such as the "tyranny of the majority".
