Defenses??????

Okay, I need some clarifying.

What is the actual difference between Defense (gained from the Shield Scroll) and Magic Defense (gained from the Magical Defense scroll)?

Also, if you do not carry a shield, does the Shield scroll even help?

And, does the Concentration Scroll increase your magical damage?

Well magic defense protects you specifically from magic attacks. I guess they're their own category of attacks. I have really low defense, but high magic defense, because I'm a mage.

Defense = Physical attacks: slimes, mushrooms, boogies
Magic Defense = Magic/Ranged attacks: Mini Pinkines, Mage Books, Phinoflys

Yes the shield scroll gives you move defense without a shield.

Yes the concentration scroll increases critical rate and magical damage.
