Well, life is certainly shit for me. I went back to my old city for a few days, and I made a few comparisons, LOL. I don't know why I did that, it just made me feel more depressed. Get ready for a long rant.
First, let me clear the air about my exam system. First we have practicals in Physics and Chemistry (and Bio if you choose it), and about a month later, we have our theory exams, after which we have a bucket-full of exams to various universities/colleges (depending on how many you choose to apply to). Now, my school doesn't really make us do practicals through-out the term. So we have almost no idea how to use a galvanometer or how to do a titration or anything like that. We just write away in our practical record with made up readings that they give us.
When the practical exams come near, we have to start learning the experiments by heart

(I did not do that nor will I ever), and write the experiments in the practicals. Now there is an external invigilator from outside our college, so our college usually bribes them. If they failed to do that, then one of the teachers sneaks in and hands each one of us a small piece of paper on which the readings are written (the ones we're actually supposed to DO the experiments for).
Now this whole fucking thing sickens me. So I did the experiments on my own in the exams (as best as I could, since I
was doing them for the first time), but I doubt that will matter since they try and give every student maximum marks anyway

.
Also, our practicals are held over a period of 20 days, with 2 days being allotted to each student to do their practical exams.I t's natural for the month of Feb to be left as study holidays. During these days the school in MY town makes everyone sit and study the theory from 8 AM to 7 PM, while in the town I moved from, only the people who failed in the pre-final exams have to come and even they need only to stay from 8 AM to 12 PM. while the other can come if they want and practice the practical experiments.
Goddamit but it makes me so fucking mad.
