As for the temperature thing, yeah, dry heat is easier to deal with. I'll take 100 degrees in Arizona or Texas, (never been to Australia so I can't compare that one), over those sticky, humid and muggy 80-90+'s we get here sometimes. I prefer the winter weather though; getting warm is easier than gettin cool.
