Life Tap Should Be Reversed

I HATE mages using lifetap.. esp in inappropriate situations like... a party mobbing, i'm frantically healing the tank and here's a mage -ahh lifetap- (*@$*&^#*$&^@*#$&

so yeah.. i did wonder why the heck people need lifetap for.. it doesnt replenish their SP that much.. and it eats up a big chunk of their HP...

Reversing the effect would be like a cleric healing themselves... seems a bit strange that mage get a cleric-like skill (although you cant cast the "reversed lifetap" on someone else)

I rather they just take the skill out altogether coz i just hate it that much LOL!

Haha yeah. I hate the skill as well. And the balance on it is awful. I'm just saying by it be reversed it could save a mage on the brink of death. Instead of dropping it just make it useful and throw a big cool down on it to keep it from being spammed and knocking a cleric's usefulness.

I would... especially if their name is Blahs.

Perhaps in later levels (120+) you'll get something you've been looking for... Fighters do have that Vampiric Strike afterall (which isn't exactly enough to even heal half the hit you get...)

it would definately be cool if mages and archers had a MINOR healing skill. Nothing, of course, to make them clerics. Just something for fun/skill

anyways, you have to remember that OS is very unlikely to create new skills for people, and if they did, they would most likely help out archers first. Yes life tap is the worst skill ever imagined, but its not going away :O

You must remember that OS is just translating the game, and only makes a few changes here and there. So, no new skill for you! >

Also, just because fighters can heal themselves by like, 500 hp by 7x (xD which is like like a tenth of most of their hp) and taking about 1 minute 26 seconds with maxout CD, doesnt mean that other classes need it. I hardly ever use vampiric strike, just because its so unreliable. You never have it when you need it xD

as for mages, they already have like 60 skills, many of which that over lap each other lol, so I seriously doubt that they would be getting a heal spell any time soon. Mages arent very good at soloing anyways, (mostly cuz they cant mob w/o sc until about 6x and they still are bad at it by then). Mage's hp drops sooooo fast that a skill to heal themselves would most likely not get through b4 they died.

Ok, many players may not agree with this, but I do not see the usefulness of the Life Tap spell at all, even with a cleric around. As a mage, even with all the high level SP spells, I never run out of SP stones in a given quest, grind session, or KQ, and even in the rare case that I do, I have about 100 or so T3 SP Potions (Currently Overstocked LMFAO). I think that this would be the ultimate spell for a mage to have if you could use you magic power to heal yourself like I've seen in other games among magic classed characters. Come on OutSpark!

Haha I love it. I have this class as well. Just something to keep a mage alive a bit when there's no clerics around and better soloing. Merely reverse the spells action.
