WARNING: LONG RANT AHEAD XD
Ok I just failed my first kingdom quest, and I'm thinking, what the hell? I thought it's like, almost impossible to fail it unless you don't have enough people, since I have finished them with ease many times before when I was on my archer.
But just then, I was in the worst group ever. I seriously have no idea what happened. Firstly, NO ONE wanted to tank. You'd have a few seconds where everyone just STOOD there staring at the mobs, and that never happened before, so I find it really weird.
Secondly, we had a lot of clerics this time, and usually it'd be a good thing, but about 80% of the clerics just stood around doing
nothing. What the hell? All the clerics I've seen before were GREAT, they were able to heal AND fight AND some can even tank. But there were some that stood around ONLY to heal, and I have only noticed two clerics actually doing something more than that. Ok, I guess I am a bit mean when I say that clerics should be able to do more than just healing since they're supposed to be a support class, but in this game, aren't they designed to be a bit more than just that? Unless coincidentally, all the clerics in the group were raising a full-support class.... but meh, I'm not sure, those clerics looked really stupid to me.
The thing is, it doesn't look like they were doing a great job at healing either. I swear, there were a lot of clerics, but the fighters couldn't seem to tank because of the lack of healing. There were only about two clerics who were really good and tried to help.
Thirdly, killing the king slime was an
ultimate FAILURE. When we got up to that bit, we literally stood around for a whole minute staring at the green slime. I could already tell something was really wrong. Usually, in my past kingdom quests, everyone would RUSH to the king trying to kill it, but this group of people just stood there. Anyway, one of the fighters finally started hitting it, followed by another fighter, and everyone started killing it. BUT because no one seemed to be healing the tankers, they died, and the king started going after us weaklings (archers and mages) and we died. The king needed about 1/4 of life to be killed before dying, but it started spawning other mobs and everyone started dying. Like omg! All of a sudden, there were only 5 or 6 people left. EVERYONE ELSE JUST LEFT LIKE THAT! Now, I cannot say that they just ran out because they could have been disconnected or something, but... looking at the situation... I wonder if that's what really happened.
Anyway, I was pissed, and there was me, one fighter, and three clerics left I think. So the rest of us tried to plan something. I asked one one of the clerics to heal non stop, and he agreed, while the fighter tank. So we tried killing it again, but one of the other clerics ran off to somewhere else! I was like "??!?!!" and that was when I noticed that the cleric who was healing only managed to heal about 1/5th of the fighter's life, while the king was taking out 1/3 of his life out, LOL! Sigh.. well I died a few times and my damage sucked, so I guess wasn't very helpful at all myself. But hey, at least I tried and do
something, like some of them who just gave up. If they all stayed, I reckon we could have had a chance, even if it took us a while.
Gosh, what's up with the my recent kingdom quest people? The kingdom quests I did at first on my archer were totally awesome, but they seem to get worse and more hopeless. @.@"
For those who can't be bothered to read:
I just did (or rather, failed) a kingdom quest with the worst/weirdest group of people ever.
