Codec helps please.

GSpot's just a tool that gives you information on video files, I just meant to check and make sure you encoded it with xvid. When you drop the file in it should tell you what it's encoded with in the upper right section.

As for crappy quality xvids out of Vegas... I can't really say about that program, but I know that Premier really sucks at encoding. That's why I don't use the editors for encoding; I usually just kick out an uncompressed file and use a program designed for encoding to make the final version. I use VirtualdubMod to encode xvid and Sorenson Squeeze for most everything else.

For getting rid of the watermark on ConvertXtoDVD you gotta buy it or, for the less scrupulous, find alternative methods.

@Bela: Yeah I think I got that pack. Though my problem is more of trying to find which codec to use so that my divx player (for the TV, not on the comp) can read them.

IT WORKED WITH CONVERTXDVD! Made it REALLY clear as well on the TV!! Only problem was some lyrics I put in ALMOST got cut off because I didn't use the safe area thing... I think... LOL But that's ok, I'm happy with it cos the quality is great.
