tuning's a pain in the butt and all my strings were really loose so i had to tighten them a lot. then i was afraid they would break ._..
think it's finally tuned right though. the last thing was that damn B D:<. i thought it was tuned right but it was annoying loud and had a buzz but i couldn't fix it but somehow after i started playing B on the G string i was able to retune it and now it doesn't buzz anymore :3
but i'm having problems with the second adn 4th frets. my pinky won't cooperate with my middle finger T_T.
-EDIT- oh yea and doing the A on the G string makes the A string vibrate <_<

You'll get used to tuning.
its a pain right now but you get better at it.
I can almost tune by ear now.
it'll come to you naturally the more you play.
Your pinky is going to be VERY hard to train.
I didn't start using mine till about the third year i was playing.
Heres a tip!
It's going to be VERY un-natural and uncomfortable to use it right now!
But if you learn it's going to make everything easier later on.
Mine still isn't as strong as the rest of my hand and I've been playing for like six years!!
haha as for the buzz your guitar gets. I'm not exactly sure what you mean..
is it buzz from your pickups?
or do you have an acoustic?
It can be a fret placement problem that cheap guitars get.
it depends on what kind your playing.
speaking of which.......
What kind of a guitar do you play?
and if you have an amp i would like to know about that too!!!
IF you have any questions at all feel free to ask me!!
I would be more then happy to help!

Oh, cheap would do it then. I've played on a lot of friends' guitars that are cheap and a lot of them buzz.
As for fingering... practice, practice, practice. It's amazing how much your finger style changes as you become more proficient.

Is tuning by ear really that tough? I've been playing only for about half a year and I can do it pretty good. And yeah...fingering = practice.
And dude, stop saying G string :P
