If you prefer to solo your mage:
Invest in scroll making or potion making.
Stick to maps that your quests are in.
Shroom between kills to regenerate your SP/HP since you will be using alot of pots and stones while killing the mobs.
KQs are your friend.

My dragon kite got caught in the power lines. Stayed up there for years.  Everytime I saw it, I thought about how cool it was, before it's untimely death. 
And Manz - I LOVE the new siggy. Too cute!!!!!
