lixes should be 90 x 3 + 3x copper(lq) (15c ? ) = 315 ? well like it and they sell for 200c ea.
xirs = 3x lix + copper + topaz ?....yeah over 1s ea.

I reckon its the new players that are constantly ripped off. I like it this way though, keeps the cost of making lixes down, 90c + mining time.

Xir prices are even lower because very few weapons make it to +6 and even fewer people risk upgrading it. I had to sell my lixes at 450c just to get rid of them.

Anyways i'm gonna sell my elrues 100c, lixes 300c and almost can make xirs..which are gonna be 800c+ ^^
And as i c now many are selling lixes 300c and elrues 80c+ suddenly !

edit : Xirs are 1s now atleast in roumen ! !

I just buy the elrues that are lower than 55c and turn around and sell them for 65c. It is a slow way of getting money but it works. Do the same thing with scrolls. Sell the scrolls for 140c and you can make 20s a day.

You go ahead and sell them for 90c. But thats ripping everyone off not to mention the only people who will buy them that high are newbies who don't understand the economy just yet. First of all, materials are always free. If you buy them thats your problem but don't sell them for outrageous prices. When I sell Elrues I sell them for about 25c maybe even less because in all honesty they're worthless. The only thing they're good for is upgrading from +1-+3 so you can upgrade it higher. But even then Blessed/Lucky Elrues are easy as hell to find/acquire/etc so normal Elrues are pointless, in my opinion. The only thing these materials cost you is your time and even that has very little value.

Decomposition of Dim dusts yields anywhere from 14-19 dusts. And these are easily acquired by drops or shops. The prices will range from 60-100c, and assuming you buy at 60c:

60c/19 = 3.158c per dust.

3.157*9 = 28.421c Elrue.

And therein lies your profit. Keep in mind the values I selected are absolutes.

I beg to differ, actually. Hessah already stated most of the reasons.

It is lovely for someone to sell their items for a very cheap price, and I'd be the first to buy it, but I wouldn't do that myself. If my sole reasons for selling elrues was to make money, then I would definitely not sell them for anything before 50 coppers. Why? I can sell the materials to npc and make more money out of it that way, so I don't see why I would do that.

I reckon the actual problem is underpriced things, especially with the elrues. In CB, it was fine. People sold Elrues for at least 100c back in those days, making that particular production skill actually worth getting. But now, people selling them for such low prices made me stop levelling that production skill. It doesn't feel special, if you know what I mean. I know making elrues are supposed to be for enhancing, but we all know that half of us makes them to make money. However, if everyone's selling them for such low prices, I don't see what's so special about the production skill. I had lost interest in that skill ever since people underpricing elrues.

Also, some prices may be a "rip-off", but I wouldn't say that we rip them off if they choose to buy it. We aren't there to lie to them that the stone is worth 90 coppers and persuade them to get it. Some people may just have a lot of money to spare, thus they buy the 90c elrues. It is their choice to spend their money, and it will just only be our problem if the items don't get sold.

Furthermore, if everyone goes selling their elrues for 25 coppers, there will be someone out there who will think "oh, everyone is selling them for 25 coppers, I'll sell mine for 10 coppers so it gets sold quickly!" Isn't that the reason why half the people sell things for that cheap? It's so that they are cheaper than other people, and everyone would buy their items first.

All in all, I don't think it's a crime to sell elrues for 90-100 coppers. If someone out there is willing to buy it, let them be. I don't think a newbie out there who have very little experience in the economy will be ripped off by them anyway, since they probably wouldn't even have the money and you get a heap of dusts when you train at low levels, thus they can make it themselves anyway.

You well other priced the mats tho.. the dusts in CB could be bought and sold between 3 - 5c 10c 15c for mats nowadays is rubbish pricing, if anything everything has gone up accept maybe the acception of elrues but they only dropped by like 10c. 100c for a elrue which could break a lvl 20 weapon is pointless might aswell go buy a lucky or blessed for just a few 100c more.

that's true.. ppl selling tough meat for 25c?! and full shop of summon beast leather for 50c 0.o i think that's going crazy.... it'll be easier to create a new account and farm them urself.. or i have discovered the wonders of mat decomposition ^^ 11 tough meat from 1 tender meat... YAHOO~

but the truth is... for me... i cant sell the elures of i price it 95c or above... so to me.. 90c seems like it's the max margin keke...
