Though the rules doesn't say this can't be done, it would be nice if everyone did their own work and not "leech" off other people.

-edited out- I'll leave it up to Loveless about the hues thing, though we encourage as little "artsy" stuff as possible,
i.e. no drawn elements!! We do not want to direct this contest at only artistically talent people with good skills in Photoshop, we want this to be fun for everyone. I guess we are hoping that people can participate this contest if it's just using Paint.
But yes, I'll let Loveless decide for the hues thing. I'm guessing that we don't really encourage it because we were waiting for members to put "original elements" together to make something "new", if you get what I mean.
