Big Mean Honeying
So I've heard its virtually impossible to succeed in that KQ?
I managed to get into one that filled up. Its at the same location as King Slime, except yeah, its honeyings. We got through the bottom, the second part of the hill, we ALMOST got to the top but we ran out of time.
I could only come to the conclusion that we'd need specific numbers of each class. There can only be a max of 10 people. That leaves room for two parties.
Or is there a bug with it?

In the Japanese version, the limit is 15 people. I think they made a mistake here.

Been thinking about this as well, I was in a full KQ as well, and only managed to get 1/2 of the 2nd circle..
well, I'm thinking of forming a couple of good groups to go in again, but its so hard to coordinate people especially when you dont really know them, and never hunt with them so u dont really know how good they are.. i think if a couple of good functioning groups go in, they can do wonders. AOE mages is a must, maybe even 3 or 4 of them..
maybe 1 tank, 2 clerics, 7 AOE DDs? xD
or a couple of 1 tank, 1 cleric, 4 DDs team.

Well.. people dont die so much in this KQ, so they won't be needing to rez left and right. Last time I was in, we go to the end of the second level, which was basically right before the king honeying, and only 2 people had died.
Maybe like this...
Party 1:
-main tank
- 2 clerics
- 2 damage dealers
Party 2:
- back up tank (to tank the smaller honeyings that may spawn)
- cleric
- 3 damage dealers

this KQ has a huge advantage over the others: its as good as always empty
this gives us the change to plan ahead, gather the right people, prepare the tactics... and just to do it

Me and some guildies tried this KQ and beat it the first time.
I was the secondary fighter along with the Tank, there were 3 Clerics, and the rest were Mages levels 35-45. The Main Tank basically gets buffed to hell with everything, usually 4000+ hp (mine was 4300ish) and lures all enemies in groups periodically throughout the map. When all enemies are around the Tank, the Mages all perform AOE to kill quick while the Tank still gets the Aggro by constantly performing his Taunt. Then just rinse and repeat. It goes by extremely fast like this and we had approx. 8 min to kill the final boss. The Mages really just slaughtered the final boss, and the extra fighter was good for the honeyings he produces. All in all, a finished Honeying KQ is much worth it if completed. Great EXP for all levels 30-45ish.
