Hahaha I had no idea about that but still these temperature extremes were set almost 70 years ago so you can't really say that though.

yea, I haven't read much about the effects that it's supposed to produce.

Some blame this temperature extremes on global warming. Recently we've had terrible and strange weather and everyone seems happy to point the finger at global warming.

Others don't believe in that and say it's only the natural cycle of the Earth. They gave me examples of the ice cap on Mars, which is now totally gone and the Ice Age on Earth, etc. Interesting.

But all I know is that

we're screwed

unless we do something now.

LIke turning off your computer when it's not in use to reduce your carbon footprints, switching off your monitor if you're afk for more than 10 minutes.

There is a hole over the poles 6 weeks out of the year. ozone is made when sunlight hits our atmosphere. oddly enough, 6 weeks out of the year, the poles dont get any sunlight. No one seems to bring up that handy gem of info when they talk about the ozone layer around the poles.
